Nicole Millich, APRN, PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC

Specializing in psychiatric care for children, adolescents, and young adults.

**Patients must be residents of Florida or Connecticut**

Nicole Millich is a dual board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health and Family Nurse Practitioner with specialized expertise in child and adolescent psychiatry. She has extensive experience providing developmentally appropriate, evidence-based mental health care for young patients facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and autism spectrum conditions.

She is known for her warm, collaborative approach that helps children, teens, and their families feel supported and empowered throughout the treatment process. Her clinical background spans outpatient, school-based, and telehealth settings, and she is skilled in diagnostic evaluation, psychopharmacology, and interdisciplinary care coordination.

Nicole began her nursing career in Naples, Florida in 2012, where she developed a strong foundation in collaborative, patient-centered care. After earning her Primary Care Nurse Practitioner degree from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2017, she pursued advanced training in psychiatric-mental health at the University of Florida.

A passionate advocate for pediatric mental health, Nicole has been recognized with multiple honors, including Outstanding Preceptor Recognition and the Exemplary Patient Care Award—reflecting her dedication to both clinical excellence and mentorship. She holds active licensure and DEA registration in multiple states and is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Psychiatric Nurses Association and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

In her free time, Nicole enjoys hiking, kayaking, playing pickleball, and making memories with her spouse and their twin daughters.

Nicole’s goal is to create a safe, engaging space where young people can heal, grow, and thrive—with treatment plans as unique as the children themselves.

ADHD & Learning Disabilities

While some behaviors associated with ADHD are "normal" and not a cause for concern, someone with ADHD will have trouble controlling these behaviors and will show them much more frequently. We can provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for ADHD and other learning disabilities. Treatment may include medication and/or nonpharmacological options.

Depression & Other Mood Disorders

Depression is more than just feeling sad or going through a rough patch. Depression can affect not only your mood, but also energy levels, motivation, appetite, sleep, and many other parts of your life. Without treatment, episodes may last a few months to several years. We will develop patient-centered treatment plans to improve your symptoms and quality of life.

Anxiety & Panic
Disorders

When feelings of intense fear and distress become overwhelming and prevent us from doing everyday activities, an anxiety disorder may be the cause. Treatment options may include antianxiety medications, psychotherapy, and complementary health approaches, including stress and relaxation techniques.

504 Plan &
IEP Assistance

We can work with schools and universities to create an education plan that will help students succeed. Plans may include extended time for tests and/or assignments, modified assignments or reduced workloads, more one-on-one support, more frequent breaks, and creation of a "safe space" and ability to go speak with a counselor, when necessary.
